Two Configurations
90° Configuration
The 90-degree configuration has the benefit of supporting the machine near the center of gravity, enabling heavier equipment to be rolled around the jobsite with less down-pressure on the handles. We generally recommend this configuration for 48" power trowels but some users also like the balanced configuration on their 36" units.
45° Configuration
The 45-degree configuration angles the wheels rearward and has the benefit of keeping them about the same width as the trowel when deployed. They support the machine rearward of the center of gravity, and so work well on 36" trowels, which can often fit through doorway on construction sites.
